Hello , Veneers and laminates are same and caps and crowns are the same . The procedure is decided depending upon the spacing . For different cases different procedures . In veneers 2mm to 4 mm can be corrected. Crowns are used for root canal treated and also teeth having more then 4 mm gaps. Veneers less tooth reduction is done. In crown placing procedure bulk of tooth is reduced.

And crowning and cap are same.diffence between  veneer and capping for a cap tooth reduction  is more and your  complete  tooth replace  with cap.in veneer only some amount of  tooth reduction  will be done.where your natural  tooth will be preserved.just go through  some pictures. I advise  if your requirement  is aesthetic  go for veneers.
