Hello doc , i am a 24 year old guy , my neck is too dark as compare to face and while taking shower i try to scrub it hard but thats of no use . Kindly suggest any treatment or medicine or some other remedy.

Hello. Darkness on the nape area is not dirt. Its acanthosis nigricans. Apply sunscreen spf 30 or above and get ur tsh. Hemogram. Srum insulin level done. Are u heavy built? Dont scrub it . It will irritate the skin and cause more darkness. U shd get uraelf evaluated properly for inderlying condition and use moisturising some.
