Nail infection

Under the nail, there seem to be some infection. Visited couple of physicians and was suggested to use some antibiotics, with no results. Nail is still aching with bit of brown color. Please suggest. Visiting a dermatologist would be fine or a general surgeon would be good. No

Your symptoms suggest fungal infection.suggest you to visit dermatologist for proper evaluation.your nail scapings will be sent for fungal examination.

Symptoms are indicating towards possibility of fungal infection of nail..got to any standard laboratory and ask them to do Nail clipping for KOH mount,,,this test will help in diagnosing it and you need to visit a dermatologist for advise on treatment.
