I had got RCT done on my 2nd molar and the ceramic cap is chipped off from the top and the underlying cement is visible

You have to get the crown replaced as soon as possible to prevent further damage. Your dentist will remove the left over crown using a crown remover and measurement is taken. It will be sent to the dental lab and crown is fixed in the subsequent visit.
