My son had phimosis

I applied oint to my son  to get rid from phimosis, but it opend up little bit. Now he is 5 years old. Is surgery only option for this condition?

It would b better if u go for surgery.bcz phimosis for a long period left untreated can cause recurrent urine infection in child.
