My father is a renal amyloid patient currently on dialysis twice a week. But the problem now is he doesn't sleep for days n nights. Has lost control over senses.

I would suggest to consult psychiatrist asap .and also consult geriatric psychologist.they specializes in dealing with problems of old people.

Hi , Not sleeping well amongst patients on dialysis has a strong relation with their health condition . There are safe and effective pharmacological and nonpharmacological means of helping your father. Talk to his doctor and consult a Psychologist it may be most beneficial to your father to first treat the underlying conditions, such as pain or depression if any . CBT is found to be effective , including relaxation training, and mild physical exercise with emphasis on progressive muscle relaxation and breathing exercise. This should help him feel better and sleep well .
