My neck is getting Bigger
My neck is getting bigger, i have been noticing it for two weeks but now i told my family about it and everyone started to notice it too, i don't have troubles breathing or swallowing thank God and my neck is just slightly bigger but noticeable, so what should i do now ? can i please send a picture , I'm afraid it's thyroid or goiter as i searched it on internet & thank you
There are many causes for swelling in the neck, most common being thyroid swelling which is known as goitre. There are many causes for thyroid gland to enlarge such as Benign nodule, hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, benign tumor etc. You may need to undergo ultrasound of neck, thyroid function tests, fine needle aspiration cytology of the swelling
