Hi, its seen that more often than not, sleep disturbance is a symptom of an underlying untreated physical or mental health problem. It could even be related to a peri- or post-menopausal state.
It’s advisable to consult a psychiatrist or a physician for assessment and proper treatment.
What you can do?
1) Encourage proper sleep hygiene
2) Breathing and relaxation exercises
3) Mild intensity of physical activity for 10- 20 minutes, atleast 4 days a week which may include outdoor walks in morning and evening.
4) Emotional venting with anyone she finds she can trust her thoughts with.
5) Fresh fruits, veggies and adequate hydration
Next Steps
Consult a psychiatrist for detailed evaluation of the problem
