Doctor, my father is im icu with 18% lvef doctor said he required aicd or another combo ...did a patient with 18% lvef required or can adjust with icd/aicd?

With out seeing ECG difficult to comment but pt with 18% EF needs AICD for prevention of life threatening arrhythmia
