Hi creatinine has come 2.27 and eGFR is 31, pls suggest what should we do, he is taking BP medicine from long and his diet is vegetarian

Is he diabetic? Is he on medication for any other health condition?
Next Steps
please see a nephrologist.  His renal function is not normal and will require evaluation. Please get an HbA1c, potassium,  sodium, bicarbonate, urine routine,  urine protein creatinine ratio done.
