My bike skid and fell on my right leg

2 days back i had skid and fell on my right leg. I was not able to walk as i felt my knees where not supporting .eventually went to hospital and took xray and all was normal. However the ortho doctor came up and asked me to take MRI as he suspects ligament tear a surgery is possibl. but now i able to walk slowly . pls help
