My ankle is swollen but doesn't hurt.

It has been swollen for four days. I have recently broken my tibia and fibula. It is swollen in my lower fibula. If I apply pressure on top of my fibula then I feel pain. I can walk with little pain. Should I be concerned? Should I go to a doctor?

I would advise you to visit an orthopedician so that you can be examined and undergo investigation such as X-Ray to find the underlying cause and have it treated accordingly. These steps may help: - Avoid placing pressure over the foot - Keep the leg raised - Apply an ice pack over the ankle for 10-15 mins 3-4 times a day - Immobilize the foot by using a crepe bandage Kidnly visit the orthopedician at the earliest
Next Steps
Follow the steps as advised
Health Tips
If condition persists or worsens visit the orthopedician at the earliest
