Hi thanks for writing to Practo consult.  We consider typhoid  (widal fever ) if fever persists for more than 5days.
Next Steps
Please manage fever with paracetamol every hours and maintain a temperature chart. keep child hydrated by offering plenty of fluids and fruit juice.
