Does boiling mushrooms results in its nutrition going away? If yes then what is the best way to cook mushrooms? Please do suggest alternatives

Hello, Mushrooms are packed with several nutrients, vitamins and antioxidants.So Frying, overcooking or Boiling & discarding the water can reduce the nutritional value.You can easily cook them by grilling or baking. Thanks & Regards, Alekhya Katta.

mashrooms is a form of fungus, so, mashroom, may have other impurities attached to it, so its advisable to boil them for few minutes in salt water and discard the water, it will retain its white color, and no nutritional loss.

Yes if you throw the water that you have boiled it in. The best way is to steam them in limited water that is utilised while cooking
