Mucous in stool with small red dots
I observed some bright red spots 2 weeks ago in my stool. They are still there .sometimes i do get little loose stools and sometimes its like little flat pressed sausages.from past 2 days i am observing white substance attached to stool looks like pus or mucous i don't have any other symptom. Earlier about 1.5 weeks ago i was having anal fissure like pain and blood coating on stool for 3 days but it resolved. My diet is like i mostly eat outside food.water intake is less than 2 litres per day.
Is it something serious or should i do colonoscopy?
Avoid spicy food
• plenty of fibres(banana/mangoes/papayas/watermelon/green leafy vegetables)
Plenty of hydration
• 40 minutes brisk walk everyday
• Avoid constipation
• avoid straining while passing stools
• put 5 ml of betadine in a tub of warm water(not hot water) and sit in the tub for 5 minutes morning, 5 minutes in afternoon, 5 minutes in the night_this is termed as SITZ BATH
