Money problem for cataract operation
I am not working anywhere so my income is nil. now I am facing problem how to get cash for the operation of my eyes. I will manage only between Rs. 4500/- to 5,000/-. Please tell me is this amount will sufficient for cataract eye operation.
There are a few charitable institutions/hospitals which offer cataract surgery free of cost and at lower prices. But in such surgeries the intraocular lenses used are basic lenses which might not be suitable for some patients having diabetes/hypertension related eye problems, inflammation in there eyes or other previous eye diseases/ailments.

You must consult an ophthalmologist who can suggest the prognosis of your cataract surgery and the type of intraocular lenses suitable for your eye after complete examination of your eyes and cataract.
Health Tips
If you are diabetic or hypertensive or have any prior eye disease, I would recommend to go for better/hydrophobic lenses as these have a definite advantage over hydrophilic lenses in patients with such conditions.
