Mole treatment

I am 60 years old. Have had a mole on my upper lip since birth. 2 weeks ago it became a little painful & inflamed. It seemed slightly protruding. I applied Caladryll lotion & Soframycin ointment. Now there's no pain but it still seems very slightly bigger in size. I don't want incisive treatment as am scared. Please advise.
