Missed periods but negative pregnenctest

My last periods was on April 25th I get timely periods as my menstrual cycle is regular and occur exactly on same date every month.i have been married since 2yrs and now we are planning for pregnancy Its past my period date and i did not get yet when I tested through home kit the results are negative.can anyone pls guide me

A delay of upto 7 days is considered normal wait till 1 June If still no periods repeat pregnancy test If negative other reasons besides pregnancy needs to be investigated n treated
