Missed period with hypothyroidism

My girlfriend has been late 11 days on her period. However, she has hypothyroidism, High copper levels, celiacs disease. She abruptly stopped taking her hypothyroidism medication about 3 weeks ago which she took twice a day religiously. She took a pregnancy at day 6 and it was negative. Is the hypothyroidism a cause of this missed period?
