I am on Mirena since mar 2015 for unexplained bleeding pv , have Pcos too since last 19 years. After initial hiccups, I was settled with Mirena. From past 4 months, I am bleeding more heavier than "settled" period and more often too. For no reason, I bleed after sex since last 2 times. I don't have any vaginal or pelvic infections. Mirena is also in situ from scan which was fine 15 days back. What could be reason? Should i chale Mirena and get new one? Should i opt for historectomy?

Without indication donot go for hysterectomy.I think bleeding is due to mirena only.Once get checked by doctor and better you changed it.You can try mefanamic acid for 3 days during bleeding time.
