After using minoxidil for twenty days I am facing white flakys type of dandruff I was using kareglo ad shampoo daily and it feels like dry and consulted doctor he suggested BIODERMA shampoo Its been 3days When will it get cure How long it takes? Is it good? To get dandruff or flakys After using minoxidil Any suggestions might help please

Hi Flakiness can happen after minoxidil application. Wash your hair on alternative day basis as it's drying your hair. Or else you can switch to aqueous base minoxidil as the irritation component due to alcohol is not there.

It's normal to develop mild scaling after using minoxidil..don't worry..continue the shampoo regularly on a daily basis or on alternate days..it will be fine..if there is no response , then we can start on a shampoo with salicylic acid component, which can help better..take care!
