This is not a disease... this is just an ultrasound finding.. it has to be correlated with clinical signs and symptoms.. it can be normal finding at the time of ovulation in females ... other causes in which it is a pathological finding can be ectopic pregnancy, pelvic inflammatory diseases or infection and many others.
