Hi Ceramic Veneers are more color stable and durable compared to composites. But if your Dentist suggests that you can still go for an orthodontic treatment(braces) that will be good. That will be a permanent solution for you. The only difference is that Braces treatment will take few months to a year and veneers can be given immediately. HOPE THAT HELPS DR.Nisha .Harwani.

Orthodontic treatment would be the best option Also you should check for the frenum attachment and should be corrected if needed Wearing retainers post orthodontic treatment would not cause relapse also Veneers are not always advise because they change the size of the tooth with may not look good at times

Composite resins can change colour after a while. Usually they last 2-3 years. You can either replace them or choose to do orthodontic treatment. That will close the gap permanently but will take a year to 18 months. Veneers are the faster option but a layer is shaved off from your tooth surface. Discuss with your dentist and decide accordingly

Composites take up stains over a period of time. We need to chk clinically to decide ortho or veneers.

I would suggest you to do go for ceramic veneers.Even after orthdontic Rx some amount of relapse is seen particularly with midline diastemas.

Composite resins tend to take up stains, so get them polished regularly. Orthodontics is the best option as gap between the tooth is closed without trimming them, where as with veneers or crowns teeth need to be trimmed.
