Does tatoo cause bacterial infection.? Actually I made a tatoo 6 months ago and after 6 months I noticed a bump on my stomach.Doctor said that this is a bacterial infection? Thanks for the query. Tattoo can lead to multiple issues and can be problematic. It becomes more serious if you have done it at a sub standard center. The chances of needle injury and serious blood borne viruses are there. Similarly many other infections and foreign body type reaction may develop depending on the tolerability of your skin.
