Methods to reduce pain for DVT patients

Acute DVT about 8 years ago. I still have to bear pain on day to day basis. I wear knee length compression socks. The pain is quite bad and I am fatigued by the end of the day.  i cant exercise as my leg swells up. As a result my body is not fit. What can i do to reduce pain and also to keep my body fit?

Varicose veins cause pain as well. Proper diagnosis is required. If it's really DVT, then it has to be dealt with immediately it can be life threatening. Consult a general surgeon in person for proper management. Online consultation won't be of much help to be honest with you.
