I have diagnosed with left foot metatarsal fracture and have got orthopedic cast put on. It's been a week since I got the cast. Is it safe to go-to work? I have a desk job and my office is right near my house. I have a two layered cast i.e PoP and coloured FRP over it. Just in case

The cast should be in place for at least 3-4 weeks. And weight bearing on the affected limb to avoided , I guess your Orthopaedic surgeon would have advised the same.
Next Steps
You can go to your work place with help of walker
