Both the procedures are effective.they can be used in combination too. That is decided after seeing the degree of hairfall. Minoxidil causes hairfall in the initial one month but there is improvement after that. You need to consult your doctor regularly. Consult online or visit a dermatologist in your area for treatment

Minoxidil can cause hairloss initially after starting the treatment but it does not cause hairfall. It is very effective in hairloss treatment of androgenetic alopecia. Consult a dermatologist online to get examination and treatment further after proper diagnosis
