Mesenteric lymphadenitis is a common finding on ultrasound abdomen .
Commonly they are nonspecific and are present in response to some nonspecific infection. They get resolved with the infection.
Rarely they are problematic.
A 4 year child with 10 kg weight is an Under weight child and can be due to malnutrition or some underlying problem.
If the problem persists even after the treatment being given, she requires thorough investigation.
