Hello Friend, Good that you are seeking a help here. Looks like you are challenging your own character due to others feedback. Actually it a very opportunity to correct yourself. Your friends and families are like mirror, who can reflect the way you behave with them, as you tend to ignore those emotions during discussion or actions.
Do a self analysis with their feedback and your own strengths and weaknesses..you will be able to identify the gaps and then it's easy to correct it. If you can't do it yourself, take a guidance of psychology counselor to assess your suitation and explore the possible solutions.
