My mom is 46yrs and she is still having her periods. She complains bleeding is more than usual and it won't stop for 5 days. Spotting on 7th day as well. Feels dizzy and gets weak during those days. Always 4 days early than usual time. Is it normal at this age. Because she says she has never had periods like this before she turned 45.

Perimenopausal age group women can face period changes But it's better to get her thyroid evaluated and also get a sonography done
