Medicine for itchy vagina

2021-07-03 00:27:20
My vaginal area (just inside the opening) has been itching for the past week. This problem has occurred before (recently- a few weeks ago), and got under control with the help of a 3-day course of an antibiotic (doxycyclin). However, the problem has recurred, and it is concerning me if something is wrong with my health. Please suggest some medicines for it, since physically consulting a doctor at this point seems risky to me.

It sounds like a bacterial/fungal infection. Have you taken any antibiotics before this itching problem started? Is there any discharge? If yes, what colour? And is it foul smelling? Have you ever been diagnosed with diabetes or tested for it? Need answers to these and some more questions to help you in the best possible way. You can consult me on practo regarding the same.
Health Tips
You can use V wash for washing your private parts twice a day on daily basis. Avoid using soap for this purpose. Also, washing with only plain water will not help.
