I've had a swollen lymph node for about 2 weeks going on to 3 now I went to the emergency room 2 nights ago All the doctor did was look at my throat told me it was strep throat, he didn't even swab my throat, and told me that is why my lymph node is swollen He didn't he feel how hard it was My node is hard wont move and isnt painful just discomfort
If no throat pain or fever than get a ultrasound of neck to see the size and architecture of the node.. if the inner architecture is normal nothing to worry a 10 day course of antibiotic will help.. if the architecture is not normal get a fnac ( needle test) donefrom this node
