My wife has been experiencing pain under her left arm pit but only when she gets up from bed. She feels it is some sort of small lumps so we googled the same. The reasons could be cysts, benign or cancerous tumors. Please provide some tips or suggestions to check for anything and how to go about it.

It could be an enlarged axillary lymph node. Is she having any fever? Or did she recently. It mostly occurs with an infection. Kindly consult with associated symptoms for further evaluation
