Lumineers:    Lumineers provides same function as veneers but they are not as invasive ..    In Lumineers preparation,the original tooth is left unchanged and the enamel is not damaged....   Lumineers are quicker to apply than veneers, as the teeth are not shaved down beforehand...   Lumineers  require minimum preparation or no_preparation.... veneers: Veneers required minimum tooth preparation ...minimum of 5mm of enamel is removed for veneers... lumineers are more better than veneers...   If the gap of 2 mm is present,veneers are placed....   If the gap of morethan 2 mm than we can go for orthodontic management....

Hello. If there is no loss in vertical height of tooth then and only then laminates are possible. If not then laminates are not possible. As such we can roughly close 1.5-2mm spaces with laminates. More than that is difficult.
