Forwardly placed lower jaw due to mismatched growth may require surgical correction under general anaesthesia. After evaluation of your radiographs , it does look like you would need surgery to correct it. Surgery would require a hospital stay of 3-5 days and would be considered a major surgery. You may require orthodontic correction prior and post to your surgery.
