Low progesteron while trying to concieve

Hello. I use vaginally progesterone 200mg every night because low prog. And we are ttc. But yesterday i didn't take my pill because of negative hcg and this morning i had blood on my underwear. Isnt it erly to have my period just one day after not taking the progesterone? Should I take a bigger dose next time?
