Hello, I am a female. I just want to ask something pertaining on taking iron supplememts to raise my hemoglobin count. I am diagnosed with thalassemia, and i have taken folic acids for the last two years. My doctor advised me not to take any supplements associated with iron. But i need to raise my hemoglobin inorder to have a medical certificate. What should i do?
