Hello Bmd is basically a test to see the density of your bones. Low density means weaker bones or less calcium deposition and puts you at risk of fractures. At 60 years, you should have low threshold to get a bmd test. But before bmd test you should get your blood levels tested for calcium and vitamin D. If the tests are normal, you should get a bmd test for sure.
Next Steps
Serum calcium/vitaminD3/ ALP/ iPTH/ PO4
Health Tips
Avoid falls, if bmd low start treatment for osteoporosis
