Loose Tooth at 14!!

My front adult tooth is VISIBLY LOOSE/ I can see it moving and it's slightly uncomfortable. I went to the dentist today and they told me it has "normal mobility" and that there's nothing wrong with it because there's no infection. But, shouldn't they still splint it because it has visible movement? Isn't it abnormal to be able to see a tooth move?

A good xray will reveal bone loss which is the primary cause of tooth mobility. Please reassure yourself with this simple step.we can take things ahead here on.
