Long term hip pain

I've had this hip pain (deep in joint and does not spread) that comes and goes since I was 14 years old. It hurts randomly, sometimes after standing for periods of time, sometimes after yoga. I've always had some limited mobility in my right hip also and I experience pain if it is stretched too far. I am not able to wear heels because it is painful. I was just diagnosed with scoliosis and I have 2 degenerated discs in my neck, and 1 in my back. Is there any correlation between my hip pain and my back?

Yes your spine and hip/ knee/ ankle are interconnected, in the sense altered anatomy in spine can put abnormal load on these joints
