Long sight problem

My sight is -1.5 for both eyes and I stopped using spectacles for almost 10 years. will it damage my eyes if I do not use spectacles ?

Now there is no chances of further damage but you won't be able to see distant object without glasses.if it is ok with you then you can continue without glasses or else either wear glasses or wear contact lens or go for lasik.
