Lomotil safe during breastfeeding?

Hello, I have been having loose motion problem today and couldn't find any econorm in the house and it was too late to go out to buy so I took lomotil. Is it safe during breastfeeding? If not how many days do I wait until it's safe to breastfeed my baby ? She's 6 weeks old. And can I give only formula until then ?
