Liver Hemangioma

Hi, I am a PCOS women, so while getting my regular checkup done, a liver hemangioma of 5/4mm was detected in the USG. Please suggest if something is there to worry about..or any further tests required to confirm the situation. I am a little worried.

Hello No need to worry. These liver hemangioma are benign tumor and they usually dont cause any problem in life time.

Liver hemangioma is the most common benign tumour diagnosed in the liver. A small hemangioma does not pose any problem. It is commonly detected in USG when scan is done for some other reason. So you can check it up after 1 year to assess the growth

No need to panic. Conservative treatment. repeat a scan after 1 year
