Lipid profile test

Recently I went to a doctor and had my bp checked there it cam 180/100 but in home when I check it it comes normal then I also had my lipid profile done and showed it to the doc he wrote me medicine rosuvas 20.i wanted to know if it is necessary to take the medicine or it can be self treated and also I haven't had any bp medication before and doctor has also wrote a medicine for my bp should I take it

Hi, i understand your concern regarding your health. Hypertension and high cholesterol is a fearful combination. Lifestyle modification do help but i think you will need to be started on medication along with it. In due course of time your treatment could be reduced to low doses if tests are normal.
