White nail bed may be due to various reasons like trauma,anemia,hypoalbuminemia and skin diseases.

see to pediatrician may require some regular tests

If it is on a single nail... It can be due to trauma If it had been on more nails we might have thought of some deficiencies.... Need not worry it will go with time...
