I have a history of Diabetes in my family. What lifestyle changes can I adopt to minimize the chance of getting Diabetes?

Please follow a healthy eating pattern that is a balanced diet and a regular physical activity/exercise of atleast 30 min everyday as these are very important to prevent or delay the onset of diabetes and try to keep your body weight under check. Thank you!
