Hello Doctor, I am 33 yrs old. Recently done with Quadruple Marker Test but reports were positive and after I have gone through Amniotic Fluid Test (FISH) 4 days back only, reports are normal. Along with that they have done altrasound as well. So now level 2 ultrasound is mandatory or I can avoid this altrasound. Test reports attached for your reference. Thanks,

It will help to do a TIFA level 2 scan dear as structural problems can be caused by causes other than chromosomes . Chromosomes are normal as studied by FISH
Next Steps
Treat like any other low risk case and follow routine antenatal care

Hello there The FISH REPORT is normal. No chromosomal abormality seen regarding the TRISOMY 13/18/21 and sex chromosome. The final KT reprts will tell a clear picture. This test detects chromosomal abormality And the scan detects structural malformations dear. The need of both is different and one can't replace the other one. So it's advisable to go  for scan as NOTHING US MANDATORY. take care Stay safe 🙏 Continue the medication as advised by your doctor
