White spots first appeared and was spreading rapidly on my lips, hand & leg palms around 14-15 years ago. So my family consulted a doctor for me and with her treatment the spread stopped, and the treatment continued for 3-3.5 years under her observation. After that we consulted another doctor as there was no progress ( although we knew that treatment of vitilligo is very slow or not possible) and the treatment continued for another 5 year with out much improvement and we stopped the treatment completely. But for last 4 year I observed that the white spots on my palms disappearing without any kind of treatment and now 80% white are disappeared. Any cut or damage on skin leaves white spot for vitiligo affected people but in my case (last 4-5 year) the skin gain its natural color after such damage. I think there is some hope that the white spot on my lips can be cured with proper medical treatment. Attached 2 picture for review.
