We cannot say anything for sure without looking at the lesion. However, I don't think it would cause pain in ear or throat. Maybe that is because of an infected or impacted tooth. So I would suggest you to get that checked out by a dentist, and to get a biopsy done for your lesion, as it is the only way we can be sure of its nature.
