As far ur question is concerned it all depends on the existing vision with and without glasses.without this info it will be difficult to comment on this.
Using glasses or contact lens both are equally good as long as your prescribed power is correct or as long as you are using a properly fitting contact lens...if no proper fitting then surely you are inviting trouble at present and in future.
Regarding management,it is difficult to discuss further without details of existing vision and glass power. please discuss in detail about lazy eye with your treating eye doctor and also try reading about it on Internet and try to understand the problem you are suffering from.
